Surveillance Officer

Location: In Office Job (Porvorim, Goa, India)
Schedule: 6 Days Working Week 
Department & Division: Production – S24 Surveillance
 
Job Description:

We are currently seeking a dedicated and vigilant Surveillance Officer to join our S24 Surveillance Division. This role is ideal for individuals who have progressed from a Trainee-Surveillance position and are ready to take on responsibilities within our dynamic production and operations team. As a Surveillance Officer, you will play a crucial role in upholding the safety and security of client premises through meticulous monitoring using advanced surveillance technology.

 
Responsibilities:
  • Perform surveillance operations, utilizing specific applications to observe and report on any activities that may threaten safety or property.
  • Prepare and submit comprehensive reports detailing observed activities to the Team Lead daily.
  • Efficiently manage alarm systems, including prompt responses to triggered alarms.
  • Execute security evaluations of buildings and grounds through live video feeds to ensure safety.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate potential safety risks.
  • Provide support in managing crowd control and executing evacuation procedures as necessary.
  • Act swiftly in emergency situations to safeguard all individuals on premises.

Requirements:
  • Possession of a High-School Diploma, Undergraduate Diploma/Degree, or an equivalent qualification.
  • A minimum of 0-5 years of experience in a relevant field.
  • Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), with the capability to quickly adapt to new software and systems.
  • Prior experience with security equipment and surveillance technology is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team to achieve objectives and deadlines efficiently.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Superior verbal and written communication abilities, with the skill to interact effectively with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Proven resilience in high-pressure situations, with a commitment to maintaining a positive demeanor and delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Self-motivated with the capacity to complete tasks autonomously within set guidelines, routines, and standard operating procedures.
